EricaZart Studio - Oil and Acrylic on canvas including limited editions. Kate is a contemporary artist whose work explores the boundaries between the surreal, the exotic and the macabre. Working primarily with oils on large-scale canvases, alongside acrylics, Kate creates visually striking pieces that invite the viewer into imagined worlds filled with emotion, atmosphere and intrigue. Alongside her own artistic practice, Kate has worked closely with The King's Trust (previously the Prince's Trust), supporting charitable fundraising through the sale of her paintings and will be supporting events in 2027. Through EricaZart Studio, Kate continues to create bold contemporary works.
How it started
Kate's passion for art began through the influence of her father, an artist whose creativity and vision shaped her own artistic journey from an early age.
EricaZart Studio is a personal tribute to that inspiration, carrying forward the connection between creativity, imagination and artistic expression.
Kate's artistic journey developed further during her twenties when she lived in London. During this period, Kate painted and exhibited on the South Bank, the Barbican and was shortlisted for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Her work has also been exhibited in a variety of respected venues and exhibitions across the UK, including the NEC Birmingham, Yorkshire and selected venues across Wales.
